Privacy and cookie policy

This page explains what data awarity.be collects and the cookies it uses. Awarity builds security awareness training, so we keep our own site lean and transparent.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you personally. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records aggregated visit statistics such as page views, referrer, country, and device type.

Cookies we use

• awarity_session: a technical marker set by the platform when you log in, used only to switch the header button between Login and Dashboard. No consent needed.
• awarity_consent: remembers your cookie choice for six months. No consent needed.
• _ga and related Google Analytics cookies: set only after you click Accept. Reject or ignore the banner and they are never placed.

Who processes your data

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd), only with your consent. See Google's data policy. policies.google.com/privacy
• Firebase Hosting (Google), hosting region europe-west1.
• MailerSend, for transactional email.
• Microsoft 365, for incoming email.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access, rectification, or erasure of your data, and you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA).
